Wedding Day Series Part 1

Blog post

Spring planning has begun here at K. Ellis Boutique. I am going to market in March to buy our spring and summer wear! Stay tuned for how to help us vote on what you want us to bring home from market! We will be bringing in our first spring set March 1st. Join our VIP facebook group here or follow us on Instagram to help with voting.

Okay, I told you I would get more detailed with our wedding! I had SO SO Many people ask about where we got everything. I decided to do a series on all things wedding <3

This post is going to be pre-wedding details. Where we got ready, who, how and etc.

I rented an Airbnb in San Saba right by where we were getting married. The girls all stayed there Friday night and it was fun to all stay together and wake up.

We had brunch brought by a  family friend and then spent the morning getting ready.

Makeup was done by my best friend Kaitlin Bode follow her on instagram here -
Hair was done by Laken Miller follow here and Sara Sloan follow here-

I bought our robes off of Etsy and it was so fun to match.

My earrings were Kendra Scott and one of my best friends, Nicole, surprised me with a beautiful Kendra Scott bracelet!

Something borrowed was my best friend Kaitlin's grandmothers dinner ring… isn’t it beautiful!?

Something old was my grandmother's ring that I pinned on my bouquet, such a sweet reminder of her!

Something blue was my bridesmaids wrote on the bottom of my shoes it was so sweet!

The guys- golfed and I rented a place in town (we are limited in San Saba lol ) for them to stay after the rehearsal dinner… They were of course late when the photographer arrived :0

One thing I wish I would have done is not gone to the wedding site the day of so I would not have been rushed (but if you know me I am control freak and it would have stressed me out to not see what it looked like)

Tricks for any brides to be-

    1. Have your itinerary set the day of and beforehand and plan for plenty of time to get ready
    2. Water food and champagne (but not too much)
    3. Relax and enjoy the day!!
    4. Have HELP I had GREAT help from my mom, Mandy, Jody and a friend Lauren Willen. They were my go to people the day of!

Stay tuned next week I will walk you through our first look ceremony.

XOXO,

Kayla
